2023 Year of Spools Finishing Settings:
The 2023 Year of Spools Finishing Settings PDF consists of settings using all 12 blocks for a large throw, 9 blocks for a small throw, 3 or 2 blocks for a table runner, and 1 block for a pillow or wall hanging. The blocks can be used for not only the projects in the PDF, but many other things so let your creativity flow! The PDF also shows other ideas for using multiples of one or two blocks in the settings, and even has a fun coupon.
Option A:
Showcase all 12 monthly blocks in a simple setting that allows your blocks to shine. Add a fun pieced border as a special touch. Finished Size: 58” x 73.5”. Check out the fun option below:
Make multiples of one month's block, such as Sew Festive shown here, to make a quilt for the holiday or season of your choosing. Use leftover prints from your blocks for a scrappy and colorful border.
Option B:
Include nine of your favorite blocks in a smaller throw or repeat blocks for a seasonal design. Finished Size: 58” x 58”. Also check out some other fun options below.
Play with color and block rotation in your quilts! Sew Loving alternates between dark and light blocks. And Sew Sunny has blocks that twist and turn to add interest and movement.
Options C & D:
Not a fan of pieced borders? No problem! Just use a solid border to frame your favorite monthly blocks.
