I’m so excited to announce my newest quilt block pattern, Sew Loving. It’s the perfect block, just in time for Valentine’s Day! The pattern features an adorable heart spool block wrapped in a larger heart block. The Sew Loving block finishes at 14” and is the perfect size to finish into a mini quilt, table topper, or pillow. You could even make several Sew Loving blocks and turn them into a quilt. The possibilities are endless. I plan to make my Sew Loving Block into a mini quilt to hang in my studio, as well as a few pillows. I just love it sew much! For my Sew Loving block I used the Country Rose collection by Lella Boutique for Moda fabrics. This collection came out a few months ago and some of the pieces should still be available at your local quilt shop. This block would look great in so many different fabric combinations. I could totally see a Corey Yoder or Thimble Blossoms version. I cannot wait to see what you come up with! Fabric Reqs:
The fabric requirements can be found on the front of the Sew Loving Block PDF pattern, but I will also list them here.
You will need:
1 - Fat Quarter of Background (White)
1- Fat Quarter of Dark Pink
1 - 10" square of Light Pink
Please note you will not need the entire fat quarter and fat eighths may work depending on how you cut your pieces. I increased the requirements to fat quarters to ensure you had enough.
