American Sweetie has easily become my favorite patriotic quilt this summer! I have had so much fun seeing all of your versions, and every single one makes me smile. It's beginner-friendly, works beautifully with scraps or a favorite fabric collection, and those sweet bow blocks with the ruffle border give it the happiest vintage feel.

2. Independence

If vintage-inspired quilts make your heart happy, Independence might be your perfect match. This classic patriotic quilt looks beautiful made with coordinated collections or a mix of cherished scraps.

One of my favorite things about this pattern is that it was originally featured in a quilting calendar, and I'm so happy it's still finding its way into sewing rooms today!

3. Baseball Star

This one has a special place in my heart because Seth and I worked on designing it together! If you love baseball as much as quilting, Baseball Star is such a fun project for summer, and it looks great displayed all year long.

The pattern is great for advanced beginners, especially if you enjoy sewing with solids. My favorite detail is the secondary design that appears when all the blocks come together. You'll start spotting home plates and baseball diamonds across the quilt, and it still makes me smile every time I see it.

4. Liberty & Love

If you love the look of a classic patriotic quilt but bows aren't quite your style, Liberty & Love is a wonderful alternative for American Sweetie. It has that vintage charm I always find myself drawn to, with beautiful star blocks that feel timeless.

5. Firecracker

Firecracker was inspired by those magical summer nights watching fireworks light up the sky. The playful star blocks make this pattern so much fun to sew, and it's perfect for digging into your scrap bin.

Who says a patriotic quilt has to include all three colors? Blue Beauty proves that sometimes simple is just as striking. I made mine in blue and white, but this pattern would be beautiful in just about any color palette.

9. Glory Blooms

Glory Blooms is another pattern that works well far beyond the Fourth of July! While I made mine as a red, white and blue quilt, the floral-inspired design looks beautiful in any color palette.

10. 4th of July at Granny's
